About Us
As an extension of the United Labor Agency (ULA) formed in 1971, the ULA Counseling Center is a local business serving the Northeast Region of Ohio, that offers counseling services to individuals and families. Our aim is to foster a therapeutic environment where individuals are empowered and supported throughout their journey. Counseling Center staff are highly trained and specialize in a variety of areas, including career counseling, depression, anxiety, life adjustments, grief and more. We believe that everyone deserves to live their best life, and we are here to help!
Services
The ULA Counseling Center currently provides the below services.
Diagnostic Assessments
A diagnostic assessment is like a thorough check-up for your thoughts and feelings. It's a collaborative process where your strengths, experiences and challenges are explored in a safe and empathetic environment. Although an assessment typically results in a "diagnosis", it's not about labeling or judgement; it's about tailoring our support to fit your individual journey.
Counseling
Counseling is a service that fosters empowerment, positive growth and nonjudgemental processing. It begins with the development of an individualized plan where the focus is on your unique abilities, needs and goals. Counseling is offered both in-person and via Telehealth. Services may be focused on individuals, couples, and/or families.
Referral & Coordination
We recognize that you may have a diverse set of needs that stretch beyond your counseling sessions. Referral and coordination is our way of building a supportive network around you. It's like putting together puzzle pieces from various areas of knowledge or expertise to help contribute positively to your overall health.
